Living Gospel Church was born out of a burden and passion for reaching people with the saving message of Jesus Christ. The journey began in the BHEL MIG Housing Colony, where BHEL allotted 200 acres of land to its employees through the BHEL MIG Housing Society — creating a vibrant residential community where the seeds of this church would be planted.
Recognizing the spiritual needs of their neighbourhood, the founders were moved by God's call to serve the community and share the Gospel. Along with faithful founding members, they established a house church that would later be known as Living Gospel Church.
In its early years, regular Sunday worship services, prayer meetings, and special weekday gatherings were held at the residence of Pastoramma A. I. Dayamani. As the ministry grew, Sunday School was initiated, nurturing children in the knowledge and love of Christ.
As God continued to add to the congregation, the original venue became insufficient to accommodate the growing fellowship. Consequently, the church meetings were relocated to MIG 1767 to provide a larger and more suitable place for worship and ministry.
A significant milestone was reached on August 15, 2025, when the modernized worship facility — Sharon Prayer Hall — was dedicated for the regular worship services of Living Gospel Church. The prayer hall stands as a testimony to God's faithfulness and provision throughout the church's journey.
Over the years, Living Gospel Church has actively engaged in evangelistic ministries, including Gospel meetings, Gospel campaigns, Vacation Bible Schools, village outreaches, and various mission activities. The church has remained committed to sharing the love of Christ and serving communities both locally and beyond.
Today, Living Gospel Church continues to thrive as a Christ-centred family of believers — known for its warm welcome, compassionate spirit, and strong sense of fellowship, providing a nurturing environment where newcomers and long-time members alike can grow in faith and experience God's love.
